Public Relations
Public relations is one of the cornerstones
in the marketing communications package provided by BjTA. Generating
consistent, positive media placements adds a powerful ingredient
to the marketing mix - credibility. In addition to increased exposure,
the message is strategically directed at the company's primary target
audience. Public relations is a two-fold process. The front end
requires that practitioners must be strong communicators, able to
write effective newsworthy press releases that will entice media
members to take notice and follow up. The second part of the equation
is media relations. A key part of a successful public relations
campaign is developing relationships with reporters, gaining their
trust and becoming another resource for stories. BjTA has established
a strong reputation in the public relations field, locally and on
a national level, by working in partnership with media. The ability
